SCL Delay Analysis Methods

The SCL Delay & Disruption Protocol (2nd Ed.) outlines six methods:

Impacted As‑Planned & Time Impact Analysis → Prospective, cause → effect.

Time Slice Window & As‑Planned vs. As‑Built → Retrospective, effect → cause.

Longest Path → Retrospective, identifies controlling activities.

Collapsed As‑Built → Retrospective, “but‑for” subtractive modeling.

Some methods start with the cause, others with the effect. Each requires careful judgment in application.
